Winery Review: Black Opal Shiraz is dense in color with a violet rim. Ripe berry fruits along with fig and raisin add to the complex cedar aromas. The palate is soft plum with a dark fruit richness. The tannins are fine and supple making a round, mouth-filling wine.
My Review: I LOVE this wine! This full-body wine smelt of earthy tones with hints of cherry. It tasted light and fruity with hints of blackberries and spices. I detected the cedar aromas mentioned above. I tasted this wine without food. I would 110% drink this wine again!
