Wine Tasting - Josh Cellars Sauvignon Blanc
Last wine tasting for the semester... I've had too much fun!
Name: Josh Cellars Sauvignon Blanc North Coast
Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Region: North Coast, California
Country: United States
Year: 2012
Price: $13
Winery Review: Bright aromas of lemon, lime and pineapple are the core of this wine with layers of white flower nectar, peach and tropical melon. The palate of the wine is fresh and alive with clean fruit flavors and a perfectly balanced, crisp finish.
My Review: This. Is. My. New. Favorite. Wine. The light, fruity taste of this wine was incredible. I tasted tropical hints alone with some lemon and lime. I see what they meant above when they mentioned the white flower nectar, I couldn't put a name to it, but that suffices quite well. I tasted a LITTLE hint of oak, or more of a harder taste along with the light and fruity aspects. It balanced quite well. I tried this wine without food. I am for sure going to drink this wine again, probably tomorrow.
